Tom Peters on brains

Clearly a man well endowed in the brain department himself, American management guru Tom Peters speaks surprising common sense.

I heard him on Monday talking about excellence; it's a topic he's been banging on about for decades. One commend really struck a chord. He said: 'in business being too bright can be more dangerous than not being bright enough'.

His point was that if you think too hard about the possible ramifications of your every action, you end up doing nothing. Better to be a little less bright, then you have the ideas, but don't talk yourself out of taking the risk!
